Terry Yon, C.E.O. - Professional Background

Terry Yon, a 6th generation Floridian, has served the state of Florida as a registered consultant pharmacist and has lobbied matters pertaining to pharmacy for over twenty years. He received his B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Florida.

A Tallahassee native, he is very familiar with the layout, design, and operation of Florida's political system and process. Through his past employment as Assistant to the Executive Vice President of the Florida Pharmacy Association and Drug Utilization Director, he has done extensive work, statewide and nationally, especially with the Department of Health, the Agency of Health Care Administration, the Health Care Financing Administration, and so forth. He has friendships with the Executive Secretary for the Florida Board of Pharmacy as well as excellent working relationships and friendships with federal and state elected officials, agency directors, the Florida Society of Health Care Pharmacists, and the three state colleges of pharmacy. He fully understands total legal compliance and the bid process.

Terry was appointed by the Governor to two four-year terms on the prestigious Judicial Nominating Committee and was solely responsible for the first Board of Pharmacy appointment for the Walgreens company by the Governor. He has consulted to Walgreens for over 12 years.

In 1995 The Florida Department of Corrections began looking at how it could develop a working relationship with a private pharmaceutical firm that could tailor it's operations to meet specific DOC needs not being met by other suppliers in the marketplace. After 18 months of intensive research into providing unit-dosed medications, a unique relationship was formed between the DOC and the private fledgling entrepreneurial firm Terry Yon & Associates (TYA). TYA has become the only FDA-licensed company in existence that provides all known psychotropic medications in unit doses at any requested strength. Between 1998 and 2006 TYA has saved Florida taxpayers approximately $15 million in the cost of pharmaceutical services. In addition to saving taxpayer money TYA has set a quality benchmark never before imagined by integrating the latest just-in-time supply techniques enabling a zero inventory system for its clients as well as a return policy that makes the firm the most customer friendly in the pharmaceutical industry. When presented with the request from the DOC to begin splitting very expensive brand-name pills in order to achieve additional cost savings for the department TYA rolled up it's sleeves and went right back to work in the R&D lab to develop the capability to meet the request.

Brian Ballard: Chief of Governmental Relations - Managing partner for Smith and Ballard, Inc. - The firm specializes in all aspects of governmental advocacy with particular emphasis on matters before Florida's Executive and Legislative branches of government. Mr. Ballard's past service was in the Executive office of the President, Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff to several Florida Governors. Ed Bayo: Outside Counsel - Mr. Bayo is our corporate law attorney with the Gray-Harris statewide firm. He has served in the past as the Florida Board of Pharmacy and the Florida Board of Dentistry Counsel. Ed assists to make sure that TYA continues to operate within the guidelines set by the government in the pharmaceutical industry.

Allen Moayad: Attorney - Allen is a broker and marketing consultant for foreign trade at T.Y.A. He is a principal in the Genesis International Group.

Robert Trammell: General Counsel - Mr. Trammell brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table having served 10 years in the Florida House of Representatives, where he was Chair of Judiciary, and is currently our lobbyist, attorney, and a life long friend.

Jeff Trammell: Federal Counsel - Mr. Trammell is our Washington D.C. counsel who carries with him a tremendous amount of legal experience and comprehension in the areas of U.S. Customs, DEA, and Health and Human Services compliance issues.

Mr. Eugene Peiser : Doctor Of Pharmacy - Mr. Peiser is our FDA compliance consultant. He is a past FDA and U.S. Department of Public Health commissioned officer and ensures that TYA meets and exceeds all compliancy standards in operations.

John Mudri: DEA Consultant - Mr. Mudri is our DEA compliance expert. He is a past DEA chief supervisory investigator and ensures that TYA meets and exceeds all compliancy standards set by the DEA.

Leonard Inge: Pharmaceutical Consultant - Mr. Inge spent eight years on the board of pharmacy for the state of Florida both as the chairman and an active member. He is currently on staff at the Florida A & M College of Pharmacy located in Tallahassee, Florida and has been an active professor there for many years. Mr. Inge is vital in keeping TYA up to date on the latest pharmaceutical issues and concerns and keeps the company on the cutting edge in the research arena.

Jerry Hill: Chief Of Compliance - Mr. Hill is a past bureau chief for the Florida Department of Health and has provided pharmaceutical over sight and licensure for regulation to Florida Statute 499 concerning manufacturers, wholesalers, and central pharmacies. Mr. Hill is also known as the father of Pedigree, a process of tracking medication delivery from the manufacturer.

Jane Yon-Bachtler: Chief Financial Officer - Jane is our inside C.P.A. and works regularly with the Carr, Riggs, and Ingram to provide administrative and financial services for T.Y.A. which specializes in repackaging of pharmaceuticals. She has experience in the past with excellent national and international firms to include Ennis, Cooper, & Paige, Fisher-Price Toys, and Arthur Anderson and Co. She has a vast knowledge in auditing of many private and public companies.

Mitch McElroy: Director of Operations - Mr. McElroy brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of human resource management and operations efficiency. McElroy supervises the entire production environment and ensures product quality and on-time delivery is consistent and predictable.
